Roswell Invaders Rally Past White Sands Pupfish 10-6

July 7 2018 The Roswell Invaders defeated the White Sands Pupfish 10-6 at Joe Bauman Park. Roswell scored in five consecutive innings from the fourth through the eighth, turning a 3-2 deficit into an eight-run total before adding insurance in the final two innings. White Sands scored three runs in the fifth and three more in the eighth but could not complete the comeback.

Ed Reichenbach led Roswell with a home run and four RBI, while Logan Coughlin collected three hits and drove in two runs. Nolan Hoff scored twice, reached base four times with two walks and added an RBI. Roswell finished with 10 hits. White Sands had nine hits, with Chris McCoy and Tevin Brown recording two apiece; Brown also drove in two runs.

Ryne Underwood earned the win after allowing seven hits and three earned runs over six innings while striking out seven and walking one. Jagger Harjo and Lance Fairchild each worked a scoreless inning, and JD Cozad allowed three runs but no earned runs in his inning. Tommy Giunta took the loss for White Sands after surrendering six hits and five earned runs in 4.2 innings with five walks and no strikeouts.
