May 25 2018 The Roswell Invaders and White Sands Pupfish finished in an 8-8 tie. Roswell collected 11 hits and White Sands had eight, with each team committing errors. The box score lists pitching decisions for both clubs, but the final score shows that neither team won.
Roswell scored once in the first inning, three times in the third, three times in the seventh and once in the ninth. White Sands answered with three runs in the fourth and five in the seventh. B. Portelli led the Invaders with two hits and four RBI, while Ed Reichenbach went 4-for-5 with a double and scored once. Nolan Hoff scored four runs and drew two walks, and Louis Martini and Gavin Lavallee each drove in a run.
Chaztin Venezia paced the Pupfish by going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Timothy Carter drove in two runs, while Aaron Sheaks scored twice and added an RBI. Josh Youngchild also contributed an RBI, and White Sands drew seven walks as a team.
